A Survey and Review on Gain Enhancement Methods of Microstrip ... F. Gain and Bandwidth Enhancement in Compact Microstrip Antenna In this paper [5], a new compact microstrip patch antenna has been proposed in stacked configuration. The characteristics of the antenna are obtained in terms of return loss, gain and bandwidth and are compared with theconventional microstrip patch. It is observed Metamaterial Superstrate Antenna Design with Gain Enhancement

Abstract: The gain enhancement of an annular slot antenna fed by a cavity is studied numerically. The method of moments for bodies of revolution is used as a numerical tool for the simulations. The effect of different parameters is investigated and methods for gain enhancement are proposed.

Gain and Bandwidth Enhancement of Rectangular Patch Gain and Bandwidth Enhancement of Rectangular Patch Antenna with Trapezoidal Slot for Wi-Max Applications written by Gitansh Gulati, Dheeraj Bhardwaj, Manan Dixit published on 2014/11/24 with reference data and citations ENHANCEMENT OF BANDWIDTH AND GAIN OF A … The return loss is below −10 dB from 4.45 GHz to 7.4 GHz except at 5.1GHz with a bandwidth of 48%.The antenna is thin and compact which makes it easily portable. A maximum gain of 8.77dB achieved at 4.7 GHz frequency. The VSWR parameter was found to be less than 2 within the operating frequency range.

The proposed compact MIMO antenna occupies an overall size of 19×33 mm2. Good port-to-port isolation is obtained. The simulated and measured results show that the presented antenna is suitable for multiband MIMO applications.

grated TSA with SRR slot is presented to enhance gain with band notch characteristics. The artificial material is integrated in tapered slot area of the basic TSA and the peak gain of antenna is increased from 9.4 to 10.9 dBi at 10 GHz. The SRR is etched near the excitation area or input aperture of the antenna which is responsible for notch Gain Enhancement in a Microstrip Rectangular Patch … Gain Enhancement in a Microstrip Rectangular Patch Antenna Using Alphabetical Slots Deepanshu Kaushal and T Shanmuganantham Department of Electronics Engineering, Pondicherry Central University, Pondicherry, India shanmugananthamster@gmail.com _____ ABSTRACT The improvement in the radiation gain characteristic of a conventional RMPA upon the use of alphabetical slots has … Gain-enhanced SIW cavity-backed slot antenna by using For gain improvement and size reduction, a SIW cavity-backed meandered slot antenna with lateral slots as inductive loads has been investigated in , in which radiation is generated by TE 120 mode resonance in the SIW cavity with a 6.1 dBi gain at 5 GHz. Furthermore, many gain enhancement methods have been taken into antenna designs. Antenna-FSS Configuration The proposed structure is composed of a wide slot Gain enhancement of a slot antenna with a metamaterial superstrate ... The gain enhancement is achieved using the zero-index property of the metamaterial. The increased broadside gain for the proposed antenna is 6.42dB more in comparison to that of the reference slot antenna. The overall thickness of the MTM loaded antenna is 0.15λ0, where λ0 is the free-space wavelength at the resonance frequency of the antenna. A high efficiency of about 96.20% is obtained for proposed antenna. The loading of the metamaterial superstrate produces minimal effect on the cross ...
